- While you are more than welcome to visit us without a booking, we cannot guarantee availability during high volume periods. If you'd like to book a table, you can do so here.

Food & Drink

- Unfortunately, we do not specifically source halal-certified meat and therefore cannot confirm the meat products we serve within our multi-environment kitchens are suitable. All our suppliers operate within current EU poultry welfare regulations and best practice regarding animal welfare, which includes all poultry being fully stunned before humanely slaughtered. So in that case we're not able to confirm any of the items on our are halal suitable.
- Due to the UK’s strict licensing laws, Greene King as a company operates a proof of age scheme and track attempts by underage drinkers to order alcoholic drinks. Customers are not served alcohol without their current forms of ID and as a responsible retailer we are extremely strict on identifying underage drinkers. Our company policy is that the only acceptable forms of ID are a valid UK passport or a valid full UK driving licence. All House Managers and their staff have been instructed to check ID of all customers purchasing alcohol who appear to be under the age of 25 years old. If there is any doubt about the age of the customer, or the customer does not produce ID when requested, our staff have the right to refuse service and may ask the customer to leave the premises.

- No, we don’t serve alcohol-free (0%) versions of alcoholic drinks to anyone under 18. While these drinks contain no alcohol, they’re designed to look and feel like alcoholic beverages. To stay compliant with licensing laws and uphold our commitment to creating safe, family-friendly spaces, we’ve chosen to apply the same age restrictions. It’s about consistency, clarity, and making sure our teams and customers know we take responsible service seriously.
- No, we don’t serve alcoholic drinks to anyone under 18, even when ordered with food. While the law allows some exceptions, we’ve chosen a stricter approach to avoid confusion and ensure our teams can apply the same rule across all venues. This helps us protect our licence, maintain trust, and reinforce our commitment to safe, inclusive environments.
Venue
- Our e-Cigarette policy is as follows: An electronic cigarette is an electrical device which simulates the act of tobacco smoking. Due to their similarity in appearance to tobacco based product and the confusion and potential upset their use may cause to non-smoking customers, Hungry Horse has decided that use of electronic cigarettes will be prohibited under all circumstances inside our locations. However, all Hungry Horse pubs have designated smoking areas outside.

- We want our customers to feel welcome when they visit a Hungry Horse pub. Many of our customers are families with young children, and we want them to feel comfortable with us and enjoy time well spent.
In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, we do allow women to breastfeed in our pubs. - We ask all customers to vape in designated outdoor areas. This helps us maintain a comfortable atmosphere for everyone inside, especially families and non-vapers, while still offering a respectful space for those who do vape.
- No, we don’t allow medicinal cannabis in or around our venues. As cannabis remains a Class B controlled drug, its use raises legal and safety concerns. We take a cautious approach to protect all our customers and team members, and to ensure our venues remain safe and welcoming for everyone.
- Unfortunately, no. Privately owned electric scooters are currently banned from public roads, pavements, and cycle paths under UK law. To stay aligned with these regulations and ensure safety on our sites, we don’t allow them inside our venues.
- We’re unable to offer e-bike charging at this time. Due to historic fire risks associated with battery charging, we can’t guarantee it can be done safely on site. We know this may be inconvenient, but safety must come first for our customers, teams, and venues.
We ask customers not to bring items associated with political protests into our venues. Our pubs are places for people to relax, connect, and enjoy time together, and we want to make sure everyone feels comfortable doing so. To avoid disruption or discomfort, we kindly ask that such items are removed or put away before entering.

- A successful referral occurs when your referred friend signs up via the link that is sent to them. A successful referral will not be logged if they do not sign up via the link sent to them.

- You can pick up a gift card in the pub. Alternatively, you can buy them online here.
Please present your QR code when placing your order at the till, which entitles the bearer to 15% off Food at a Hungry Horse pub. The offer can be redeemed Monday to Sunday during food service hours.
The 15% off food offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, menu promotion or on Bank Holidays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter Sunday, Valentine's Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year's Day. Offer valid for bills up to £200, max discount £30. Cannot be used in conjunction with Tesco vouchers or Greene King employee vouchers, including friend & family vouchers.
Only one redemption per person, per transaction, for a maximum of 10 guests including you. Invalid memberships will not be accepted. The offer is not transferable. We reserve the right to amend, cancel or withdraw this offer at any time.

Christmas 2026
- Simply choose 25/12/2026 when you go through to the booking page and choose the time you wish to dine with us. Please note, we run set meal times on Christmas Day.

- Yes, you will need to pay a deposit for any of our festive events including; Christmas Day, Breakfast with Santa, Dine with Santa and Festive Menu.
- Please check your booking confirmation email, from there you will be able to log into the portal to cancel or amend your booking.

- Guests that qualify for the £10 voucher should expect receive this after January 6th 2026.
- Bookings for Breakfast with Santa will open later this year.
