It’s back – and it’s bigger than ever! This Christmas marks the fifth year of Hungry Horse's Toy Boxing appeal, and we're setting our sights on our most generous goal yet: 30,000 toys donated to children and families who need them most.
From 12th November to 19th December, Hungry Horse pubs across the country will be donating toys for local charities, community groups, or good causes. Toys can be new, nearly new, or pre-loved, as long as they are fully working and suitable for gifting. Once each pub chooses a charity close to their heart, your donations will bring festive joy exactly where it's needed.
In 2024, we had the fabulous Charlotte Dawson join us for our launch and wanted to attempt a record; to collect 5,000 toys in just 24 hours... AND WE SMASHED IT! Since we started, our amazing guests and teams have gifted over 60,000 toys – proof that a small act of kindness can make a huge difference.
So pop into your local, drop off a toy, and help us make this Christmas the most heart-warming yet.
We welcome new or gently loved toys, as long as they’re clean, in good condition, and ready to be played with again. From cuddly soft toys and puzzles to games, books, and creative kits, every donation helps a child have a magical Christmas.
By making sure the toys are safe and in good shape, you’re helping to spread smiles and create memories that will last long after the festive season.
