Sticky Toffee Pudding
This traditional dessert has nostalgia baked into every bite. Whether it stirs up memories of family mealtimes as a kid or school dinners, the light sponge combined with the buttery toffee sauce is a match made in heaven. This dessert legend is made with full-fat cream cheese and has a buttery, biscuit base.Cheesecake has been around for donkey years, with the Ancient Greeks coming up with a simple cheese and honey cake known as Placenta (we're sure it tasted better than it sounded) but the New York twist was added in the early 20th century by Jewish immigrants when they decided to make the delicious filling with cream cheese.
